What is up with people who stand in public and yell about jesus? I have seen a few white guys but mostly it is black men in my area. They sometimes stand at the bus stop and scream.

Today at lunch I saw a guy telling what appeared to be a homeless girl "YOU GOT TO PRAY AND HE WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS" or something like that. She was probably thinking..... you got a spare $5.00??? I think she just wanted a bottle of maddog 20/20....

Anyone else's towns have these people? what is the purpose? the way they come off certainly isn't going to encourage anyone to join them.

 

I had a roofing contractor attempt to get me to come to his church....that same exact day he and his girlfriend both got hauled to jail for something.....

 

Is it illegal to run them over with your car? It shouldn't be.

there used to be people doing that crap all the time on my college campus...and i have seen it downtown a few times

 

Some bearded hippy holds up a sign and does this with a sound system at the Rose Bowl. People mostly ignore him.

 

 

ya ya ya...1st amendment...... what is the purpose other than to look like a raving idiot? Who would actually stop and say "Hey.... ya now that you screamed that Jesus is the answer, I think I'll start going to church" (or whatever the point of the screaming was)...

I am pretty sure Jesus didn't tell anyone to go to a bus stop and start yelling and screaming....

During my business trip to Atlanta for a Microsoft TechED event in 2001, there was a whole bunch of 'em with signs and chanting sh1t to the thousands of IT people who visibly did not give a sh1t about their preaching. Yet they continued for the entire week... Morons.

 

it's called free speech. Kind of like some people complaining about every little frikkin' thing that ever happens in their life to a crowd of people that could give a shit.
