^^^

I don't know about outlawed, but why should 1 person annoy the piss out of 30 people who really cannot leave the area because they are waiting for a bus?

I can attempt annoy everyone on this board (not that I ever would. ) , but they don't have to read anything I type, or even open my threads......

Anyone walking near the "street preacher" is either forced to take a different course around different buildings or just listen to him scream about how Jesus will save you.....

I have noticed some of my tenants (the non section 8) play it off like they are religious, but lie all the time.....I don't think Jesus tells people to lie??

I am pretty sure Jesus didn't tell anyone to go to a bus stop and start yelling and screaming....
Mehhhh. . . call it their "pursuit of happiness."

. . . and as far as what Jesus said, "Go and make disciples of all nations. . . "

That said, it's quite the theological debate as to whether The Son had your local corner bus stop in mind.

He also said, "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." Matt. 10:14

There are a couple ways to look at it if you are annoyed by them.....

What can I do to shut this guy up because he is bugging me?

or.....

Whether or not I buy into what he/she is saying, they feel that they might be doing something that is to my benefit and help save my "soul". Even though I find them a little annoying, they are well intentioned and for that reason I will give them a pass, smile and ignore them.

I tend to go with door number 2. Although when they were on my college campus, I did what most people did, stop listen for a minute or two for entertainment and then move along.

I am not a church going person, but what are the rules if you go?

Can you lie about stuff?
Are you allowed to speed?
how about selling someone a car with a recently welded rear axle (and not tell the buyer)?
How about stealing toys from your friend who lent them to you for your daycare?
Allowed to "borrow" software and install it on your own computer?
How about creasing a brand new rental car, cleaning it up as well as possible and returning it without telling anyone?
How about littering?

These are all things that "Have a blessed day" folks have done. One couple even prays before dinner when they are out. They are generally nice people, but I find it funny that they can break laws but be so religious.
