stressin out about my driveway
ok, so how about you have the contractor raise the beginning portion of the driveway like the picture shown below? the red portion shows the raised driveway to reduce the crown effect of the sidewalk.

and then to help you get onto that beginning portion easier, have him widen the driveway so you can approach at a more aggressive angle. image below shows the wider driveway i'm refering to. thin black line represent the original drive and thick line shows the widen driveway.

Or perhaps something like this to reduce the curb height so that you don't scrape your car.

the black part, however, is almost guaranteed to be a no go. i think all the driveways have to be the same opening width.
i have more pics i took today but its already 4am so ill post them up tomorrow.
