Well we decided to pay off my wifes student loan now time to get that mortgage paid off I hate debt......

Congrats charlie! Luckily i never had a college loan (free tuition and worked for room, board and beer)

I hate debt too, but not much I can do about it... i think i have 11 mortgages and 3 car loans..... luckily all but 2 of the mortgages are for houses that at least pay for the mortgage...those cars on the other hand.

looking like i won't be able to see anyone on 10/20/01 due to my wife's running the balt. marathon

I paid mine out last financial year. Do you guys have a cut-off point for income where you have to start paying it back?

Congrats charile. I waited about 5 years before I paid off my loans. I couldn't beat the super cheap interest rates that the loans had. Good to be out of debt though.

agreed (low interest rate) thats the only reason we kept it for so long. I just got tired of writing that check out every month.

Feels sooooo good to get rid of Studen Loans doesn't it? I got rid of mine at the beginning of this year. Now I have my S2k loan......damn loans follow me everywhere I go....

debt sucks ass...in addition to credit cards i have car payments and student loans.....grrrrrrrrr.

good thing i have a solid investment portfolio with mad cash if i ever need it.
