Stun gun or mace?
I'm traveling to Asia next week and wondering what to carry to "defend" myself. Are stun guns legal to carry in Asia? I usually carry a pepper spray in my purse here in the U.S., but thinking of getting a stun gun to carry in Asia as well. What do you think?
Oh, it's perfectly okay to carry pepper spray and stun gun in a luggage (non-carry on of course), right?
P.S. Though I carry a pepper spray, I've never really used it. One time I came very close to using it on some jerk who got aggressive after I turned him down in a club. I always wonder what it'd be like to get sprayed with it. The smell alone is enough to make me cry, choke, suffocated, etc. Anyone on here has been sprayed?

I've been shot with industrial strength pepper spray across the eyes and I will tell you it's THE most painful experience I've ever had to endure. My entire ship had to endure it while we held a gun and fought off attackers in preparation for entering the War zone.
The mini bottles they hand out to people for self defence is diluted by about 10 times. The bottles the Military use are the industrial strength solution.
Pepper spray on someone who has never been sprayed can render them helpless for a few minutes. Hence the reason they sprayed us so we would know what it feels like and if it was ever used on us we would still be able to maintain control.
A few people went into convulsions and a few were uncontrollably puking.
Remember that what ever you carry to defend yourself can be used against you in a struggle.. If you carry a stunner....it could render you defenceless. At least pepperspray you would still have a fighting chance.

Wait! It's called maze, right? Or is it mase, mace, etc.?
Found a 300,000-volt stun gun for $30. Is that an okay price? I hope those things are not illegal to carry in Asia. Oh, the pepper spray I have has 17% of whatever.
