Default Subaru Forester mods

My girlfriend are going to purchase one and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good PERFORMANCE mods. I've also come to find out that overseas you can purchase one factory turbo'd and wondered if anyone knew of where I might be able to get the kit. Maybe one of the sponsors that deal with JDM parts? Any help is greatly appreciated.

I suppose you're gonna get a Forester GT? It's the one that comes standard with a turbo. Great torque but to put some performance down, you'll need to upgrade the turbine to a bigger one and get a front mounted intercooler. Not much point just adding a boost controller to the stock turbo because it's not meant to be a performance killer. Once you get these done, it's as good as an STi nevertheless. Other stuff to consider is a nice Apexi N1 exhaust and no doubt, beef up the braking power and get some decent road tyres, those stock rubber are more for off-road applications.

Personally I would take either of the Imprezas over the Forester, but I guess that is what makes the world go round isn't it, a difference of opinion
