Default Suggestions for auto shipper.

I was wondering if anyone has had a car shipped and who you went with. I'm looking to ship a car from Texas to Washington state. Thanks for your input.

I just had a vehicle shipped from CO. to the NW FL. area. I used company based out of WA. I liked the people I was dealing with and the guys that delivered it. However, after waiting 9 days for it to be picked up I got a "good news, bad news" call. They could have it picked up that day and dropped off in three days for $125 more than the contracted price. Because my wife really wanted it for the weekend I agreed to pay. I could have refused to pay the extra and waited who knows how long for it to arrive. The company was DAT, and I'm torn as to using them again. I also allowed the antique vehicle to be delivered at 11 at night, and didn't catch that it had been strapped down over a brake line causing it to break. My error for signing off without finding the damage first. Lesson learned.

Again, I really liked the people I was dealing with and the contracted driver. However, being asked to pay extra doesn't sit well with me.
