I believe they're called simply Soundworks, from Cambridge Soundworks. Surprising sound for under $100.

My $.02.

The best damn speakers for PC is Klipsh Pro Media, 5.1. Don't get the 4.1 or 2.1.

They've been the best since, and still are, 10 out of 10 in several PC magazines and in a review i did i gave it a 10 out 10.

I would think that the reason you are only getting source to the front and rear sats and not the center channel is because there is no center channel signal is most (99.999999%) of recorded material out there.

I just bought the Pinnacle 5.1 (100 watt sub + 5 matched sattelites that can be driven up to 100 watts/channel) speaker system and a Sony DTS/db Digital receiver all for just 400 bucks. Definitely better than ANY computer speakers that you can buy.

I have a friend that does a lot of sim racing on his computer and he has a killer system for his computer. He actually has a full blown receiver hooked up to JBL monitor speakers and a 10 inch sub. His setup rocks like no other I've heard. You actually feel like there is a big V8 next to you.
