Default Sunglasses Suggestions?

Today was the first time I put the top down on the S2000 since I got the car 4 months ago. It was quite sunny out and I seriously needed sunglasses for driving.

I have been out of touch with the sunglass industry. What are the coolest sunglasses for driving? Please give me some suggestions. Thanks in advance.

anything by gucci.

sorry to sound snobbish but these glasses are the only sunglasses i am willing to put on my face. so far i have 4 pairs. i like gucci because they fit me the best, look nice, and to provide pretty clarity and all that other crap sunglasses do.

Bolle has really nice sunglasses.

Gucci can suck my _____.....

Gucci, I believe, does not provide the polarization that Oakley or Bolle does.

If you want quality sunglasses, look for Bolle Piraja's or any of the other lines that they carry.

I also have the Oakley E-wires. They are VERY nice but VERy expensive.

Oakley? More sport-oriented sunglasses.

Gucci? Status sunglasses.

Personally, I have a pair of gucci glasses that my gf bought me, and they are the best sunglasses I have owned. They fit me perfect and provide the perfect tint.

I have Maui Jim. Make sure you get Polorized lens, it makes a hugh difference on the road. They really help remove the glare.

I'm with Kumar on this one.
There is anything cooler than a nice pair of Oakley X-Metals. The Juliets match the headlights!

They don't give them away though!

Having taught skiing for many years (and driven convertables!), eye protection is very important to me. I have tried all kinds of glasses, and now use (for all outdoor activities) polarized, glass lenses, Smith glasses. They have proven to be extremely clear - I have 20/10 vision, I DEMAND optical clarity, fit your face tight (no light leaks, which is very important!), do not scratch easily (I used to get free Revos, then Brikos - (both scratch if you look through them wrong!), and are relatively inexpensive ($100.00). Many of Bolle's sunglasses are a polycarbonite lens, which I find frustrating in terms of clarity. Never tried their glass lenses. Oakley uses good glass, but unless you buy the "shields," (which again are plastic) their small size might allow for light leaks around the lenses/frames. Also liked the quality of Suncloud glass lenses, but haven't found a style that works...a bit dated.

Just my opinions...

I have the Oakley Romeo, just like the one that Tom Cruise was wearing in Mission Impossible 2. It is a bad ass sunglasses.
