I bought a polarized spy set last year at the indy GP. Not bad, but I prefer my oakley vr24 lens.

How True! I agree with you 100%!

It's just that I wanted some advice- my last pair of sunglasses are about 20 year old (Varnet's) and I assume the industry has improved since then.

It seems the general concensus is the Oakley X-Metals. I probably will get the polarized Juliets. I was thinking about a pair of blue ones to stay along the same theme as my Suzuka Blue. The polarized Juliets don't come this way but will still be happy with them!

Thank you guys for all the help and suggestions! I can always count on you for any info!

There is anything cooler than a nice pair of Oakley X-Metals. The Juliets match the headlights!

They don't give them away though!
Juliets are nice. They seem a little to heavy for me though so dont wear them that much
I prefer my regular Oakley Metal Jackets or my Armani shades.

I have had plenty of glasses, Ray Ban, Boss, Bolle etc but nobody ever said much about them.

I bought a pair of Silhouette a few months ago- and at least 3 or 4 people come up and say great glass - I was just holding them in my hand - not even wearing.

For the S2000 they are perfect - minimalist Ti frames to match the Ti interior of the car - flexible and light, hug your face without any feeling - you forget you are wearing them and they never fall off. They look smart - rather than trying to be too cool. Because they are thin Ti frames - you can even sit on them and they don't break - unlike the Bolle plastic ones which do. Website does not do them justice.

Suggest a $8 pair of foster grants so when you sit on them or forget them on the roof of the car it's no big deal. I used to buy $100+ sunglasses but I really hate losing or breaking them. One less life altering issue to deal with.

Currently own Maui Jim's and have tried many others. Trying to solve the problem of wearing contacts that get dried out with the breeze. The Jim's aren't bad, but wondering if anyone has found anything better for the contact problem without looking "too cool". Looking for good looking function that won't look ridiculous on an old man.
