You think the sunglasses that were hot in 2002 are still today?

I had a pair of Revo's that I still have in the car... just in the compartment in case someone else wants to put a pair on. They are polarized... and have spring-loaded wings... awesome.

I now have a pair of Nike flexons. They wrap around the face a little better and keep the air from flowing around. Also polarized, and they look cheaper, so I always just take them off and toss them around the shifter when I get out of the car. These are obviously not as durable... they kinda look beat up, but at the same time, don't require as much maintenance as the Revo's where I was always careful to put fluid on them before cleaning them with a microfibre vs just grabbing a shirt corner and rubbing the lenses.

I've had my titanium Mauis for five or six years, and they are still in perfect condition. I did get a new case for them since the original broke (thanks Sunglass Hut!). I also have some Serengettis that are about seven years old, still in perfect condition except for a small nick in one lense.

I also have two sets of Oakleys - some custom Minutes and the square ones they made for a while around 2000. Also in perfect shape.

If you buy quality shades, and those little clothes and cleaner, sunglasses will last forever - unless you lose them. I lost a pair of 5 year old Anarchys atthe beach a few weeks ago.

I just picked up Oakley Juliet special edition with the red ruby lense from the X-Men movies over the weekend. My next purchase will be the Oakley Spike.

Well, seven years and counting on my Mauis. You just have to know how to take care of your stuff.

I'm a big Oakley fan, as well as Kaenon. Can't go wrong IMO.
