Wink Sushi Lovers!

Bought my first sushi kit. For everything I needed it was about $14. Then I bought some sushi grade tuna @ $10.99 a lb. Made my sticky rice, some avocado, grab a sheet of rice paper and voila....

Not to bad for a first time. I will be doing this a lot, AS I LOVE SUSHI, so I will get better. Cant beat sushi with a "couple" beers!

If you like sushi as much as I do, eating it out can get expensive. It is very good and inexpensive making it yourself at home. Use fresh ingrediants and you will surprise yourself.

Hmmm, I've seen the kits before but have never tried it. This may give me the shot in the arm to try it. The whole family loves it so this would be a great kitchen activity.

My fiance's uncle is a sushi chef, so we always go up to his place to get it. Good stuff. Reminds me...we haven't been up there in a while. But I know what you mean...it gets expensive.

Looks good! Now i'm wanting some.

so its not expensive at all.

We usually get sashimi. She doesn't like getting filled up on the rice. Plus she usually only gets scallops and the super white tuna. I'll usually get a roll or two along with it. He's always got some new roll he tries out on us. hehe.

I think the rolls get to be $5 - $8. I think the sashimi pieces are usually a few bucks. Even with him hooking us up, it still comes out to a pretty decent sized bill.
