Swapped cars with a friend of mine for a week. Boy, do I miss that lovely torque! Off the line, in a high gear, it doesn't matter... it's there when you need it. The M Coupe is a blast and it gets just as much attention as the S2000. If I only had to use one word to describe it, it'd be "ferocious".

here's a photo I took on the way home...

I dig it, well worth the price of admission if you got the bucks.

Yeah, I know it's got a ton of torque bringing power all thru the bands... but it's pretty damn ugly! :-)

Bottom line it, which would you rather have if money weren't a factor?

if money were no object?
both - and then i'd spend a stack of cash having someone redo the body work on the coupe.

Defintely a love it or hate it car with people. I happen to be in the former...

If money wasn't an object, I'd get a nice Ferrari. But just between the S2000 and the M Coupe, I'd get the M Coupe. It was the only car I was considering when I bought the S2000 as an interim car until my M3 arrives but the extra money was too much for a car I probably wasn't going to have too long.

Stack of cash? Heh...less than $200 for a cheap chainsaw. Better yet, borrow the chainsaw... ;-)

He G-teched his car and got a 4.98 0-60, using the same G-tech I tried 3 runs and got a best of 5.4 0-60 dropping the clutch at 7k.
