Swapped my stook!
*I* certainly don't think the stook is meant for dragging but at the track, at speed, I love having that extra torque, especially at circuits like Laguna Seca (not so much Sears Point or Thunderhill). I will however miss the S2k's handling when I have to sell it. <sniff sniff> Here's to hoping someone in my family will buy it so it can be close by.
loki,
Man! You have an awsome road to drive on! Sheesh.
About the M Coupe...
I give it much respect...I had money to spend on either one...but I picked the S2000 becase it's a newer car...and I wanted to spend some money on mods...

Loki, Don't want to lose you to the beemer crowd- will you still hang with us? BMW makes some great cars, but the marque has many idiots driving their cars, lots who don't know squat about the engineering and design, or lack therof. You'll surely miss the 4 in wheel double wishbones, won't you?
Photos are gorgeous. Big Sur I presume? Where on 1?

SFDukie,
Although I'll have a bimmer soon, I'll still be frequenting this board if y'all will have me (and even showup at meets!). I've found this board to have a great collection of enthusiasts that have respect for all brands and I've had fun meeting folks at meets or at the tracks.
I completely agree that BMW has attracted many who seek ownership of the Roundel more than the driving experience... BMW knows this and has been making their cars more refined rather than hard edged as in previous generations (ie. e30 M3). I'm hoping the e46 M3 will be akin to older models and not adopt the bad habits of the other e46 cars, I think SMG II will be an exciting tool on the track, we'll see.
I will surely miss the stook's handling tho, it's telepathic in it's response and handling. Maybe someone I know will buy it so I can visit it. I can hope!
Picture in question was taking up in the Marin Headlands, just after the GG Bridge. First one on the bay side, second on the backside of the mountain. Great road and views if you're ever in the area.
