Teacher fired for revealing truth about Santa Claus
Call me an old romantic, but I think it's really sad to have your Santa illusions dispelled at just 6 years. The teacher should have been horsewhipped. j/k I remember how sad I was when I finally found out at 23yrs. I was still leaving notes up the chimney for the fairies.
I guess this is as good a place as any for this!
Actually, Saint Nicolas did in fact exist. It's not just folklore. If I'm not mistaken it was in Germany or Switzerland. I admit that as everything goes in this world it gets blown out of proportion and twisted when someone see a buck in it. But the spirit of St. Nick still lives on today. It's the spirit of giving and the joy that comes from it. Just like the story of Scrooge! We just get wrapped up in the wrong train of thought. This time a year I get a great feeling of contentment, peace and anticipation of the future. This is a time of letting go of all the things that hold us down! It's a time of uplifting and joy for all! A time of splendor and sharing! A beginning towards a better life full of peace and joy!
I wish that I could share my joy and happiness with each one of you, in person! For those of you that look for answers during this time of year, it is a new beginning of learning and understanding, of new relationships, and enlightenment. Not from what you receive but from what you are willing to share. Embrace the season this year no matter what your circumstances. Grow spiritually and maybe a little physically!
Do something wonderful that will make a difference in someone else's life.
God Bless All of You!

You believed in Santa until you were 23?
My birthday is on Christmas -- the ULTIMATE RIP OFF! As a kid, I would get a nice Christmas gift with a nice Christmas card. Inside the card would be scotch taped a stale jelly bean, usually green and cracked, with the note "Oh, yea, happy birthday you little sh*t."
