Default Tenant just had 4th kid - 2 months early - $$$$$

My tenant just called and told me she was in the hospital and they had to take the baby out 2 months early, etc..... The kid is expected to stay in the hospital for 2 full months. No health insurance.

Truly ashame. She admitted that she pretty much hates her first 3 kids. She is always SCREAMING at them and said she was getting an abortion for the 4th but apparently didn't......

How much $ is a 2 month stay for a preemie? probably $60k? Great start to what will most likely be a miserable life. Hopefully she got her tubes tide so there won't be anymore....

Guess we are paying for this? blaaaa

Why would we pay for it? Wouldn't she just be in debt for the rest of her life?

Scot, if she had to pay for it, you wouldn't get any rent. So, your choice - you get paid and the rest of us pay for her or she pays and you don't get paid.

Our daughter's bill for birth + 4 days in hospital was around the $115k mark, so I can just imagine what 4 months would be.

Do you mind me asking why it was so expensive? That's $23K a day (day of birth plus four days, max).

yea for her and the bastard kid.... More free cheese.

She is an okay person as a person when I am around...... I joke around, etc..... but she truly hates her kids. I have never seen even a tender moment or even a remotely patient moment from her or the idiot that f*u*c*k*s her.

One time she told me she needed to get $ for the rent and to stop by.... I stopped, her kids were there (3 year old, 1.5 year old and baby) and she was the grocery store...... she showed up about 20 minutes later..... the 2 kids were just playing on the sidewalk while the baby slept inside.... no one else around..... all par for the course in the city....

Were you in that suite where the celebs rent out the floor for their entourage? I think I saw it on one of the VH1 celebrity specials... hehe.

DAYAM.

I'm guessing insurance picked up the tab though.....
