Is there any way to capture video the way "printscreen" key captures still images?

with one of those you can capture anything and it will be in any picture format you want.

Right, I don't have a video capture card (I have a ThinkPad and I'm assuming you can tell if the computer has it by checking to see if it has the 3 A/V ports right?) and I've yet to see a laptop come with one. In order to make this work, I had to buy the A/V to USB converter.
