That's just wrong. I can't believe that people will do something like that during these times. I hope you find get the flag back and find out who did it, so that you can get some justice.

Here's an update.
I called the local paper, than ran a story in the sunday paper about flag theft and included me. Also in the story was an off duty cop who was driving by the Salvation Army as someone was stealing their flag in broad daylight!!!
I work for an architect, so I used the printer at the office to print up a 3'X5' sign that said "The Memorial Flag Placed Here Has Been STOLEN!", had it laminated and put it where the flag had been.
Yesterday, a neighbor we had never met, knocked on mom's door and presented her with his grandfather's flag. He said he always got such a good feeling seeing that flag there as he drove home, he was sure his grandfather would want it replaced.
Some decent folks left at least!
Made me feel a spark of hope for humanity.
Don't get me wrong tho, I catch the sorry SOBs that stole the original flag and they're gonna have some righteous justice dealt out from one big pi$$ed off MoFo......
