There's Craigslist, Freecycle, and Goodwill, just off the top of my head. If I'm not using it, I get rid of it. The cost to buy it again if I ever need it is usually less than the cost of storing it forever.

Careful, old CRTs contain harmful chemicals and are considered hazardous waste. Give to the salvation army or goodwill and have them take this burden off your hands.

I have worked in and around TV repairs for almost 8 years now and getting rid of dud CRT's is a major pain in the arse.

I had a closet full of computers and monitors because I can't bear to throw them out.

I have a drawer full of 16x6GB hard drives. I guess I should just get over it eh
