Today is our 35th anniversary.
On August 19, 1972 we were married in Anne Marie's parents' back yard in Woodland Hills. Then we partied until the wee hours with our families and friends. Then, with God knows what alcohol and chemicals in our blood, we climbed into my badass red fastback 69 Mustang, with a blueprinted Shelby engine and a Honda 350 SL tricked out for the dirt strapped to the back, and drove 400 miles to San Francisco. Just another day.
Anne Marie's making Roladin ( http://www.cooks.com/rec/view/0,1827...240197,00.html ), my favorite dish, and red cabbage and potato pancakes for dinner.
