I just got a phone call from a gentleman who will be producing a new daytime talk show this Fall: The Wayne Brady Show. Wayne Brady is on "Whose Line is it, Anyway?". It will be in Rosie O'Donnell's old time slot, syndicated across the country.

He phoned me because he saw the video on my website, wants me to send him a video tape (better quality), and is interested in having me come to do a "test" show in two weeks. This is a show where they're trying out various acts and people to see what the audience likes and how Wayne connects with the guests.

He asked if I might be able to teach Wayne a magic trick, or maybe do two or three things really fast for Wayne and another guest. The producer said that if people like the idea he might want to have me on periodically, not just once.

I won't get paid for the test show, but I figure it's "heads-I-win-tails-I-tie"; what do I have to lose?

I'll let everyone know where it goes, if anywhere.
