Top Gear USA

I understand and I watch History Ch too but a show about modern day cars on History Ch is like putting a show about engine rebuilding on the Food Network, it just doesn't belong. Discovery Ch would be a batter fit for TG USA than History.
Pawn Stars not really either... American Pickers does have a bit more history to it though.

History Channel? I guess they don't want car guys to find the show. What's next, a yard makover show on Speed? How about a cooking show on MTV and music videos on HGTV. Christ.
When I found a NASCAR based cooking show on SPEED, I gave up all hope on that channel.

What about Ice Road Truckers? There's no history in that.

I was there for the filming Saturday.
I had very low expectations for the show but was pleasantly surprised. IMO they did a good job staying true to the Top Gear spirit, but didn't try to rip off the original show. For those worried that it's going to be overly "Americanized", it really isn't.
As far as the hosts, I got to talk to Rutledge briefly afterward. He seems like a really nice, down-to-earth guy. He's pretty funny too, surprisingly. Adam Ferrera is pretty funny as well, with kind of an arrogant/sarcastic vibe. Tanner Foust is somewhat boring, but he balances out the other two.

We've had an Oz version for a couple of years now and it has been S**t house.
The hosts are all Clarkson tryhards, and they have mostly Aussie cars too (big, fat, heavy 4 door saloons). And when they do have other cars there just hand me downs from top gear UK.
Hopefully the US Version will bring some originality to the series.
And here's some thing to blow your yankee minds, where I live we only have 4 Free to air tv channels (7 if you have digital, yes we still have analog). And about a year ago top gear UK was brought out buy the only channel we don't get in my crappy little town.
Lastly dido on the car list, and what track where they using for reviews?
