Looks like Toyota may be entering the exotic sportscar market. This mid-engine beauty will use the 4.3 liter V-8 from the SC 430 SC increased to 4.5 liters and 400 hp. Toyota will not confirm production rumors but car mags in Japan say it will happen. This supercar has been hailed as the successor to the 2000 GT. Nice looking, don't you think? Oh, yeah, they're talking $100K for this little number.

Doesn't look to bad...but then the prototype is always a bit different than production.

HP numbers look good though!

 

I don't know that I like the front. It's a little too stubby and "bright eyed". However, pictures can be deceiving. $100k is a good $20k more than the NSX.

 

Too stubby and cute to look like a $100k exotic... stretch it out a little Toyota.

The front end of the McLaren looks like it would bite you in two and use your entrails to floss its teeth. The front of the Toyota looks more like it would lick your face before peeing on your carpet.
