Default Traffic Ticket.

My friend was driving his s2000 around 1 am on this empty street. He stop at a stop sign and chirp a little on the take off. Cops wrote him down for unsafe starting (22106), smog device 27156(b), and alter market exhaust system 27156

Just have him go to court and see what the prosecutor is willing to knock down, if he isn't happy with that go in front of a judge.

I was being completely serious. I thought he would be drunk or an idiot, in either case, he deserves to pay the fines. But I dont think those infractions could possibly lead to over 800 bucks in fines unless he had to pay to fix the stop sign too.

To make things clear, he never "hit" the stop sign. I guess i should of state he stop at a stop sign. How does he deserve a 800+ ticket for chirping his tires? Knowing the guy, he probably didn't mean to do it. And it's not like a burn out. just a quick chirp. Anyways, i think that was bull if he has to pay for that fine. He might deserve a ticket, but not 800+ bucks.
