He did not, but his immediate and extended family were very very close, and his spouse is very distraught from the whole ordeal.

It's always shocking to hear of such a tragedy, particularly when it's a member you know personally. I've known Fortune for a couple of years, and though we didn't talk often he stopped by my place in Coral Springs a few times to "talk shop" (he was President of Daizen Sport Tuning, and a fan/owner of my LEDs ). Fortune was a pretty low-key talker, but you could tell he had a serious enthusiasm burning inside for the S... very down to Earth. He'll be missed.
