I am posting here to report the tragic loss of my best friend and a fellow s2ki member and enthusiast.

Fortune Gfroehrer (s2ki username 4TUNES), 35, was killed in a solo automotive accident on the evening of September 23, 2006, near his hometown of Stuart, FL.

While Fortune was a true automotive enthusiast, his passion for cars was also mirrored by his passion with everything he did in life. A true free spirit, he lived life on his terms, and was a great example for all of us to follow.

He was a very honest, caring, giving individual, and would do anything to help anyone whenever possible. The members here who have had the chance to meet him can certainly vouch for this. A very rare and special person indeed, he will be missed by all.

Funeral services held September 28, 2006 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Pompano Beach, FL.

Donations are being accepted on Fortune's behalf for the St. Jude Chidren's Research Hospital
