Since I myself have three tattoos, I'd ideally like a girl to have at least one, somewhere. Of course, I have higher standards for tattoo meanings than most people too. If you have a tweety bird or tribal tattoo,

 

Definite turn-off! A small tattoo is fine as long as its easily hidden (below panty line above the leg is cute) and isn't in the lower center back.

 

i think tattoos are tasteless, especially on women. why ruin your body with ink? especially if it has no meaning and it's meant simply as a fashion statement. i had a friend who had "vanity" tattooed on her inner wrist, it made me cringe when she showed me, but i held my tongue. she'll have that stupid tattoo when she's 70. another girl i know had chinese characters on her lower back. i LOL'd inside when i saw that one. reeeeal creative. maybe it says "easy" in chinese.

i think if you get some really creative and meaningful, and you put it in the right place, then you're okay. but 99% of people etch the dumbest shit permanently into their bodies (and pay someone a hell of a lot of money to do it...) that's another thing, most of the people i know who are really into getting tattoos have no money, and tattoos are EXPENSIVE.

I think the new trend is with stars. I see guys and girls with them and I still don't know wtf they stand for.

My GF has a pretty large chinese style dragon tattooed on her back.

I personally hate tattoos, but she's a nice girl so I let it pass...
