Well, I met up with s2va and loki today, both really nice guys. They had silver s2's with red interiors. Cliff with his shaved emblems, and HKS exhaust clear corners and a really nice custom grill covering the fake vents and radiator opening looked fantastic. Marc, who got the deal of the century on his s2k looked floor room fresh, and drove like it too! Thanks for stopping by guys!
But I digress.. the point of this is to get other members who are'nt sure wether their clutch/tranny sounds normal to meet with some other members to compare. Because after being in both of thier cars I knew
IMMEDIATELY that I have the "bucket o bolts tranny/clutch" If my dealer tries to tell me again that this is normal I'm gonna have cliff or marc to back me up. If you have any doubt, or notice that supposed "heat shield" rattle when deccelerating from 3 4 5 while clutch is engaged then meet with other members in your area to find out. I'm sick of dealers trying to pull crap. I think as united owners dealers ploys don't stand a chance. My 2 cents.

 

The revised clutch is a major improvement. I had the "metallic rattle" early on, yet, after Honda service checked it out, they reported "no problem found".

The original clutch was replaced during the TSB #055 1/2 grind fix.

As you are probably well aware, most of us who have the newer clutch are very happy with the car now. My drivetrain is better than new.

You need to find the "right" Honda dealer.

can't seem to locate any Cosmos Black pictures, I think they phased that color out and replaced it with Carbon Black... essentially is the same color.

With the red seats you'll have one killer Stook.
