just wanted to see and compare what ur lessons are or what u can expect to learn from traveling around the world by visiting many different places and meeting and seeing different people? and how does that apply to your own life?
I've traveled around the US and parts of the world for a variety of reasons. I've been to Australia to visit family. I've been throughout the on business, to visit family, and to see landmarks, museums, and other points of interest.
I think everyone should travel. It's sad that there are people that never leave their block.

One of the things you will almost certainly walk away with is an understanding that Americans are the worst

other opinions from traveling? i mean what do u think u learned and why do u keep on spending thousands of dollars on traveling abroad instead of acrossing 50 different states here?
american tourists are the worst because the majority of them are totally ignorant of other countries cultures and only view their own as the "BEST DAMN COUNTRY MAN" "ONLY IN AMERICA".
when i was younger i always wanted to go the USA, i was a huge basketball fan and always wanted to see an NBA game, well those ambitions have gone. i wouldn't mind driving across the US though (i read in a car magazine that it was done in 7 days in a Smart, i don't know if they have it in the US yet as it doesn't drink oilfields of petrol).
i've been to South East Asia, parts of Europe, Dubai and seen some parts of Australia. You have to travel to experience how other people live, otherwise you just become cocooned in your own little part of the world.

i think traveling, especially abroad, really opens up your mind. i've been to different parts of asia, europe and canada. the different customs, traditions, and way of life are really interesting. i have learned that americans are not well-liked and oftentimes even mocked. it is unfortunate to have that attitude towards us but i think we do it to ourselves. i live in NYC and even the tourists from other parts of the country get on my nerves. they're loud and obnoxious on the street and on the subways. sometimes it makes me sick the way they behave and i don't doubt they act the same when they travel abroad.

Well said! Besides, traveling is always fun. But I wouldn't recommend going to Iraq right now.
Or most of the Middle East.
