Triscuits or Wheat Thins???

The Wheat Thin is the oldest and most noble of the snack crackers.
Herodotus referred to them in his "Histories" as the "Assyrian wafer," although the Assyrians called them "Phoenecian bread."
Egyptians believed consumption of Wheat Thins could help them communicate with the dead, while medieval Germans thought them a tool of the devil.
A 1627 manuscript found in Plymouth, Massachusetts decrees 20 lashes for anyone caught licking the salt off a Wheat Thin.
