Default Trouble after installing HID Kit. Please help!

Hey guys,

So here is the problem, I just installed a DDM HID kit on my MDX. After installing the ballast and the bulb on both sides, I turned the lights on and everything looks good...BUT, when i went ahead and tried to start the car, everything went dead...the whole car is dead...no lights, no dash lights, no nothing, seems like the battery is gone...but its weird b/c the lights were working 10 secs before I tried to start the car.

What could be the problem? Fuse? Please help and give me some suggestions and advice on my situation. Thank you!

Alan

Start with the fuse boxes and see if anything blew out. Does it have dels? Pull the drl fuse. If you disconnect the headlights, does anything go back to normal?

Sounds like you blew the 100amp battery fuse. It is located under the hood. Check that first, and check the battery voltage.

Didn't your MDX have HID lights from the start?
