Isn't rampage fighting this Saturday?? I watched his first fright vs Liddell (Pride), and Liddell got dominated. That would be fun to see in the ufc
I really want to see Bisping in a fight that challenges him. He has blown through everyone he has fought...
Still dont know what to think about Randy coming back... He has always been my boy (his gym (team quest) is about 2 minutes from my house). I hope he still has it in him and doesn't ruin his career....

Bisping is good, but he did not blow through that last fight. He gassed out bad. He would get crushed by Chuck if he came into a title fight as he did that last one. But in prime condition, he is a top 5 light heavyweight right now...
Randy has a good opportunity for his first fight with overachiever Tim Sylvia. I think he has a chance to beat Tim. After that, I think he is in trouble. Mirko would cream Randy, so would Brandon Vera most likely. Randy is too old and slow for a lot of the faster more talented heavyweights. I dont even think he could beat Arlovski.

Liddell gassed out for that fight, he did not get dominated really. He didnt even lose conventionally, he threw in the towel. I think it would be a whole different story now 5 years later, in the UFC octagon and not Pride ring, and after he hasn't lost in years. I think Chuck would win right now, and that is why Rampage has said publicly he doesn't want a title fight for at least a year.

Yeah I am with you. I feel pretty good about randy's first fight with sylvia, but I am scared for him with what he will be up against next....
I prefer the ring to the cage and Pride > UFC. If you haven't followed much of Pride, I would suggest looking into it if you're into MMA. Pride has the better fighters. Who's gonna beat Fedor? UFC doesn't really have strong Heavyweights and the best of Pride tried and failed.
UFC is based in the U.S. and Pride is based out of Japan with hardly any American fighters. So naturally the marketing will hit the US hard. Another example is looking at Nascar and F1. F1 Rules but Nascar gets all the exposure.
Couture= passed his prime
Ortiz= one the most overrated fighters
Liddell= still not to be underestimated

I hope they are good seats.
I ALMOST bought 2 for the 68 in OH but I can't justify spending 1000s of dollars for a few hours, when I can have a better view, instant replay, and less expensive beer at home.
