Is this a UFO ? (pic)

I snapped this photo while in the mountains this weekend. Upon reviewing the pics it appears as though I may have snapped a photo of a UFO.

What can it be?

couldn't a bug flying a few feet in front of the lens do that if the focus is set far away?

OK first response: they had their first frost already (no bugs)

2nd response= lense was clean

Slow film probally ASA100, improper focus on subject, you were taking stills, it's a bird probally a duck. Also it doesn't look to bright so that means to fast a shutter speed. That's my guess!
