Well I just got home from my cut. So far so good...I already had some good luck before the haircut. Not much to report on as of yet...but the night is young!

Geez, Richard, I hope you don't believe in that mumbo jumbo. It's in keeping with not walking under a ladder, having a black cat cross in front of you, breaking a mirror, new moms not taking a bath for so many days after giving birth. Good GAWD, where will it end?
Make sure you don't have a bunch of 4's in your licence plate.

I got a haircut Friday...
I went to The Grand Casino Biloxi...and turned $20.00 into $70.00. I got 80 from the ATM but 60 of it never left my pocket. All blackjack, all night long. I know $50.00 may not be a lot to some of you, but it was my first time in an American casino (first time ever to play blackjack). Thanks for the advice Mingster.....

i had a hair cut on Friday, and at Mandalay bay, my $20 turned into $60 on the slot - my 2nd pull!

i also had no traffic going to and from Vegas - even in the rain and dense fog.

Ok I'm bringing this thread back alive because I did get a haircut on Feb. 3rd. When's the next day for "good luck" haircuts, mingster?

Even before I had my haircut that day, I had a computer science project due. Turns out that my teacher decided to postpone it until next tuesday, but allowed the class to turn it in anyway for a few more extra credit points. Woohoo! I was real happy about that. Looks like luck knew I was going for a haircut later on the day.

I had a great time snowboarding yesterday, but probably isn't luck related even though it felt really great compared to the other times I went during this past season. Today is one of my friend's birthday, and we'll most likely be playing some poker. I'll see if my luck changes then. =D

the next good luck hair day is feb. 8th.

let me share with you my "luck": i've been searching for a job since November, and it's been a slow and frustrating process. it's not that i don't have offers, it's that the offers weren't close or i wasn't very sure about the company, etc.

well, after a series of "good luck hair days", i thought i found the right job and was waiting for a final interview, but the interview never came (the EVP was on travel, vacation, etc.) instead i was approached by another company who gave me everything i wanted, plus more. so now i have a job i can be very satisfied with, and with a great comp package to go with it.

i feel very lucky indeed
