On Chinese lunar calendars, they usually list a bunch of things they recommend that you can and cannot do on a certain day (even certain time of the day). Now, one of the line items that is included in this list just happened to be "haircut".

I'm conducting an unscientific survey for those who're looking to get a haircut soon: wait until Friday January 7th to get a haircut (the next "good day"), and see if that action (getting the haircut that particular day) will bring you extra luck in your life.

The next "good day for haircuts" is Feb. 3rd.

I got mine cut on the 31st... am I going to die? Anyway I got it real short so that first day might be too soon, but if I remember the second day I might get it then.

 

i trimmed the the hair around my tree trunk to 2 mm.. nothind bad happened. it still springs to life strong and hard

 

I hope Dec 31st was a "good day" to sign an NDA.

 

well, there are normal days where haircut won't be good or bad, but there are bad days to have haircuts as well. there are no bad days to have a hair cut as far as end of Feb. if you would like to know whether a bad haircut day will bring bad luck, then i will let you know so you can try and see

 

 

I was actually planning on getting one on Friday after work. I'll let you know what happens.
