Question UPS tracking # question?

My package is supposed to arrive on the 10th...So i check the tracking everyday and for the past3 days it has not been updated? The last update was on the 5th at like 1am in the morning in Illinois, I'm in WA. IT says package ison time or whatever. Should I be concerned?

I would be as UPS updates transit with each scan. That is when it goes into or out of a hub all details are updated. If there are no updates your package has not been scanned as moving on.

I still day dont worry. I know its not UPS, but i had a package shipped to me with DHL and the tracking number said the package was never picked up, i even called and DHL said they had a number, but when they went to pick it up from the shipper, there was no package. However, the next day it was at my door :-). A nice little surprise

These tracking systems only give a rough estimate indication of what is really happening, most of the time, these systems run slower than what's moving offline. If you want to know what's happening, pick-up the phone and ring them. Before you expedite for progress ... Check your package shipment level, if it's not urgent ... They won't do much for you. But if it's a top priority shipment level, things will progress swiftly with a phonecall.

Ok well, I did call them. There 1800 #. The lady told me that this is normal because its in a truck traveling to Washington state from Illonois? Damn thats a long ride for it to be here by Monday. The reason why its not updated is because its traveling and won't be until WA. Is that an ok answer?

Yes. its wierd, sometimes its actually cheaper for UPS to physically pull trailers back and forth rather than using a third party rail system
