$22K for a Cooper S with sports package would make a damn nice daily driver. Not that I have to go anywhere but should the need arrise...

The Cooper S is a terrific little car.
I would wait 12 months though as there are some early electrical problems being experienced by owners.

Is Lucas, the original "Prince of Darkness", involved in this??

Not sure to be honest but I doubt it.
Owners have been locked in their cars. They have also left the car locked up and come back later to find the car unlocked and the windows partly down.
Shame really.

I like those little cars. But I don't think I would buy one before I get the S2K. Now after I get an MBA I may have to look at one of those as a Daily Driver and have a Porsche TT as a weekender. Sorry I was dreaming there.

I dunno. The mini cooper doesnt seem to float my boat. It reminds me of a car that PEE WEE Herman would drive, or Steve Urkel from the TV show Family Matters would drive. Not sporty enough for me at least.

I'll take a Cooper S with the sport package and an Elise and a slightly larger garage so they'll fit inside next to the S2000.

I like the price!

Put one in the back of your Excursion instead of a spare tyre.
