ok...

i just have to say one more thing.

best defense is offense. <~~~ keep this in your mind

US soldiers brought war on terrorist ground.

now they dont have to attack US ground...instead they just drive down from other countries and try to hurt americans in their ground.

so instead of hurting woman, childrens, and innocent people in US, they try to hurt soldiers who can "actually fight back."

by soldiers going to Iraq, afgan, etc.. they might be "saving" your family's life. did you think about that?

We are already stepping on eggshells in the Arab world before invading Iraq. I think it's a false to think that just because we are there killing terrorist means they aren't here. If anything we are making more terrorist is my opinion. I keep hearing people talk about how we haven't had any attacks on US soil means current policy is working. What will people like you say when we are attacked again? Best defense is offense, but what happens when offense becomes offensive? We, the US, have to win the hearts of the Arab world. By that I mean the man on the street. We are doing pretty poor by attacking a nation with nothing to do with 9/11 and supporting unpopular regimes in the area like the principalities. It's hypocritical of us to support monarchies like the Saudis, when we force Iraqis to accept our form of democracy. If we wanted true democracy to work in the Arab world guess who would win? All the fanatics. Remember we supported Iraq for many years in its conflict with Iran and we supported the Osama and other religious fighters in Afganastan. What did this get us? The CIA sure knows how to f things up. Now we are supporting puppet governments. I think we are just going to end up in more messes in the future.

Frankly, I wouldn't live in the U.S. (with the current admin in power) if it was the last place on earth.
In fact, it seems people from the YOUR country are trying to get into MY country
http://edition.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/americas...e.ap/index.html

Interesting on how those who are GUNG HO/GI JOE about the war in Iraq are supporting the war because it serves the purpose of ensuring freedom for Amerika.
What you guys ('living in the Country of FEAR') fail to understand is that Iraq posed ABSOLUTELY NO THREAT to the freedom of the U.S. This has been stated over and over and OVER AGAIN!

I just wish the Bush Admin would come clean and ADMIT the main reasons for going to war was for Oil, revenge (Daddy's war) and basically the U.S. needed an enemy to vent on after 9/11, and other various business reasons. This war had NOTHING to do with protecting the rights and freedoms of the American people.

Typical reason for hatred: ignorance.

How would you feel if I bombed your home, killed your relatives and a few of your siblings because my country leader told me to do so...and when someone asked me how I felt about it, I respond..

"Man, with all our cool weapons, it's pretty fun!"
Wow, see...we HAD these World Trade Center buildings a few years ago, not really sure what happened to them...anyone know?

And how do we know that those guys the chopper killed had done nothing? Were you there? The only clip I saw was when we shot them, who knows what they had done/tried to have done previously.

People find hunting fun, there are many things that people find fun that others feel is sick. I personally don't have a problem with them saying it's fun. They're proudly defending our country and actually feel like they're doing their part (which they most definitely are), and if they feel pumped over it, I can definitely see how they might feel it's fun. They trained hard for their work, and are finally putting it to use. That is exhillerating (sp?). It's even possible that they were interviewed right after an exciting battle, and may have had a poor choice of words, or hell, even if they didn't...more power to them. They're defending my arse and yours, so I have nothing but the upmost repect for all of them.

Anti-war people aggravate me so much it's not even funny. It's like saying "I hate cops," and then someone murders your child in a pointless drive-by, then you start crying "where were the police!?" Say we didn't fight this war, and a nuke or chemical weapon, or even a cheap bomb killed your whole family, then how would you feel? Even if you didn't want revenge, you would want it to stop. How do we stop it? AHHH, war? No not war?

We aren't fighting terrorist threats, we're after oil! Yeah that's it? Just like we did in the gulf war right? All that oil we just took over? Give me a break.

And sure, maybe Iraq couldn't have posed a threat to us, but they were supporting people that did. I buy a gun for a person that cant buy one, give it to him, he kills somebody...good thing I'm 100% innocent because I couldn't have done it, I gave the gun away. Right? People should just let me continue to buy guns for people that I know will use them illegally, correct? Think about things people, don't just accept all this media crap you see all over the news.

i watched that video and to say the most i am discusted.........
bunch of morons shooting the living sh*t our of stuff and people and then cheering... .
i have to agree with this
S2000_rider
I have a strong feeling if an IQ test was performed on these soldiers, they would be ranked one notch below that of a child who just graduated kindergarten.
i even think giving them that IQ is generous.
anyway, with some one like bush leading the country.....
YAY

BUSH.. ha ha ha what a moron. ... to be honest you could have a monkey with its head up his @SS and still do a better job.

also another thing.
Most of you americans are fine , (well the few i know from here and with buisness and personal) but of the 90% of american people i met when i lived back in the US, seemed to be put on a leash and lead by their 'president' to do the most stupid things.

as i said there are some really nice yanks but the other 95% of them are a bunch or w@nkers.

ohhh and onother thing about bush....

ppl from texas.. they grow them big and dumb
in every single statment he makes, he contradicts himself one way or another.

and just out of wonder.... why did you guys vote for him again ????

who are you to judge who is a moron? I think you're a moron for judging people without knowing a SINGLE THING about them. But that's my opinion, and I guess it only matters to me. I ask everyone to read the previous person's post especially the last half of it...if that's not the pot calling the kettle black, than I don't know what is. You look more like a moron than any of the people I've seen on tv.

I dare you (one who apparently thinks is well educated) to go over there and get shot at for a day. I think if you win the battle, you'll find yourself cheering to see that you and your brothers made it through as well...but no, you just sit at home, on the internet, doing your everyday simple life while people are fighting for you, away from their families, in someone else's country, risking their lives 24 hours a day...seeing some of the most horrific things happen to their friends. And you judge them. I think that in itself is disgusting.

My boss's son went over there. We knew this kid since he was probably 8 years old. He basically grew up with us. He joined the Marines and went over there and got ambushed. He was one of 4 marines in his convoy to survive the attack. He was in the back of the vehicle when an RPG flew through the windshield, decapitating the driver, and blowing everyone out of the vehicle. The other vehicles were blown up as well. When he came to, two Marines were guarding him, one other was still unconscious. They fought off their attackers and were rescued by another convoy shortly after. He went to Germany for minor surgery and then came home. This guy told me that he sees that incident everytime he closes his eyes or goes to sleep. He remembers not being able to hear when he woke up, that he saw the body parts of his friends that he had just spoken with moments ealier. I asked him if he'd go back and he told me as soon as possible, that his brothers were still over there getting shot at. So don't even try to judge these men and women, you have no idea what they've seen and been through, and I can't believe you call them morons. They don't have the easy life like you or I do, where we think we have problems and stress. Imagine what they go through every single day for once. Sure they chose to enlist, because they have courage and patriotism, and it sucks that there are SO many people like you that put them down for that. Not supporting your troops, in my books, is worse than treason.

The media has a tendancy to alter your perception of what is really going on sometimes (i'm not saying all the time). I just ask that you stop and think about what these guys go through every day, and try to understand what might really be true or at least TRY to understand why they might act like they do. After all, they are risking their lives for your country.
