The soldiers in Iraq are not "raping" anything. When a soldier in uniform kills an insurgent hiding in a religious building, there is no end to the outrage in the media, but when these insurgents decapitate an innocent noncombatant in a blatant effort to terrorize and intimidate, the US is somehow responsible? Bite me.

The armed, uniformed forces in Iraq are making an effort to bring stability and security to the region. The cowards hiding in mosques and terrorizing innocent, unarmed civilians are the enemy, not the Bush administration, regardless of your politics. When the uniformed military takes any action against insurgents, there are no end to the people waiting to cry foul, but these people provide no solutions to the problem of terrorist acts against the Iraqi population. If security for Iraqi people is to be obtained, it isn't going to come from the people standing on the sidelines and armchair quarterbacking.

The insurgents have no compunction about killing innocents, but the uniformed military has been making efforts to limit civilian casualties. I think it is high time people stopped having a double standard, holding the US military to an impossible standard, while granting their opponents free reign to terrorize and mutilate like animals without recrimination. Civilized combatants wear uniforms in combat, to differentiate combatants from civilians. Cowards hide in civilian clothes, because they know their life is forfeit if they don't.
man that's gotta be the most blatant BLINDFULLY patriotic sack of horse shit I've seen in a LONGGG awhile...
Do some research and see how CAREFUL they are in avoiding hitting civilians...
What a bunch of

Go back to sleep in your reality bubble.

Not at all, but they are certainly not trying to avoid them. Over 12,000 souls would tend to agree.

Actual respected, experts in the field who have actually studied this would tend to disagree with your EXPERT opinion.

Yogi,

Why are you wasting your time arguing with those closed mind people ? They want to believe that US soldiers love go to war(s) to kill innocent civilians and laughed about it. You are in US Army and you know that US soldiers are trained to kill enemy combatants, to avoid being killed, in a time of war.

All you need to know is, most Americans appreciate your service to protect our country. Even some Americans do not support the war in Iraq, but I believe that they appreciate all US soldiers at the battlefield.

Anywho...it's been a slice. I'm done with this thread.

Yogi, thank you for your conversation!

Honda606, the fight to free colonized minds continues!

There's nothing more blind than a colonized mind...
And the unjust will be visited by retribution

Peace!

i'm just reading this entire post.

everyone has opinions but really, some of you just need to keep your mouth shut.

made a comment about soldier's IQ being notch lower...

I graduated with 3.8 GPA from college with all the honers you can think of and i have met many many officers next to me and above who are a lot smarter than me....

and yes i'm a INFANTRY who goes out and so call "kill people."

i dont like to post on this kind of subject...one, me being a soldier, i just get so mad when few ignorant people talk about something they have no idea about.

S2000 rider...you live in canada and just worry about your country...really.

you ask why did you fight in a war that you dont support.

are you out of your mind? we are soldiers, we dont decide...umm yeah i feel like fighting today.

when our comander in chief say go fight...we go fight. this is our job, this is our country, and this is our duty.

i respect anyone's opinions but really, do you really know whats going on?
