Travelling via train or other public trans leaves you subject euro unions that love nothing so much as going on strike.

Renting a car allows you to set your own schedule and route.
I dunno about that, I've heard great things about Eurostar and had numerous friends and family that have traveled around Europe using it. I even knew some guys with unlimited passes who would check travel times and grab sleeper cars on overnight trains, travel 4 hours in one direction, then 4 hours back and wake up in the same place they went to sleep/left the night before.

Of course, you could also just schedule all your travel at night and wake up in new destinations all the time.

I'd be down with that for shizzle.

Alaska FTW

Denali National Park
Anchorage is fun and laid back
Juneau is beautiful
Valdez is cool as well

Everybody should go once in their life!
I agree! I'm headed up there in July.

If you like the outdoors, hiking, fishing, etc. go for it! It's absolutely beautiful, plus the sun doesn't go down until like 2am in the summer.

Where in Alaska would be the best?

And I don't know why people said Hawaii so many times, especially if you're young. That place is boring as shat and everything is expensive.
