the beemer seemed to have had a much better speed going into the corners, but the EVO had raw power to work with.

so... with all the custom stuff they've done to the car.. .engine... bracing... why not pick something that is more immediately road race suited? Is the evo really that good of a platform so that you don't have to stretch as far? it seems like a paradox... take a crappy car and say you've done alot, or take a not crappy car and do even more?

that was lame.... they showed that same car on the Evo board in an ITE race, which consists of a bunch of much more tame cars including a couple of S2000's. He SCREAMED past the S2000's down that front straight like they were on 2 cylinders.... 600hp (supposedly that is at the wheels)

that is how you win 20 in a row. had little to do with the guys ability (or inability) to drive.

Yeah the BMW was braking later and taking the turns better.

600hp? Eh...
