Default most difficult interview questions ever asked

What are the most difficult questions you've ever been asked during a job interview that had you stumped or confused?

Like the classic, "What are your weaknesses?" "Ah uh... none?" Wrong answer!

Did you, perhaps, mean "stumped"?

What did you learn from your last job that would help you bring value to this job? Hard because my two careers are on opposite ends of the spectrum.

The classic answer I've always used for this question is that "I may be too attentive to detail, thus losing sight of the overall focus or goal, but I've been working on balancing it..... etc etc"

The key is to always put a positive spin on a negatively geared question.

One question that is behavioral that gets asked a lot is the following:

You are driving along in your car on a wild, stormy night. You pass by a bus stop, and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect man (or) woman you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car(The S..hehe). Think before you continue reading. This is a moral/ethical dilemma. You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first; or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect dream lover again.

The answer? - "I would give the car keys to my old friend, and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the woman of my dreams."

Outside the box thinking along with an ethical twist...

Where do you expect to be in 5 years?

Wrong answer - In a higher paying job elsewhere
Wrong answer - Assuming I don't get fired?
Wrong answer - Your boss.

"What is your most embarrising moment" - Shagging your mom and getting caught.

"What is your best attribute" - my hair?

"Do you mind working overtime" - F*U*C*K YA I MIND

"why are you leaving your current job" - I am under investigation for Fraud.

I had a handful of horrible interviews about 5 years ago.....

I walked out on a team of 10 for a job as soon as they told me 70 hours per week would be normal. I got up and said "I can't believe i took a shower for this" (in a joking way).... they all whispered to each other... blaaa

I told one idiot that I wanted to "Act more mature" when they asked that 5 year question.

Good luck Mav - i guess this is prep for the California job?
