Marcus and I struck a deal for $325 for some wheels.....beat up wheels.... so I western unioned the $ to him, which was picked up within minutes of when I sent it (literly minutes)......

NOW, over 2 full weeks later, I have not heard a word from him, and he has not posted anything to this board!

Some guys say he is a decent guy, but it sounds like he basically set me up.

I am not sure what my alternatives are. Being patient is getting very old knowing all of the details!

Here's an idea,

be-friend that judo, ass kicking guy your wife knows....send him out to Cali to get your wheels or your money back.

This is like killing two birds with one stone: You get your money or your wheels and you get some alone time with your wife.

Good luck in everything....btw, what is your skill set for work? What kind of work do/did you do? If it's in the right areas, I may be able to hook you up with some contacts.

Scot's not looking for work, he likes sitting at home taking care of the boys. He's one of those geeky CPAs. He only works during tax season. Maybe you should give him a call. Doesn't somebody on this board have his number?

 

Scot, you might want to post this in the "Bay Area" club section as well... I've met Marcus before, nice guy... dunno why he's being flakey on the wheels. I've got a set of his front amber reflectors I've been meaning to give back to him for months and I can't even get a hold of him for that!

Scot, I ran into a similar wheel-buy some time ago. After sending the individual a check and waiting several weeks - because it was going to clear before shipping them out, he then decided to go ahead and sell them. What an ass he was for not keeping his promises, but he did return the check to me with a letter of apology.

I sincerely hope you get the same kind of respect from Visreal.

Seriously, I hope one of the three (money, wheels, visreal) shows up. You just are not having a good couple of weeks.

 

I have met Marcus twice before... He always seemed like a good guy.

Ya, this is not sitting well with me.

I am hoping for the best, but.......... I spoke to him at noon monday and he said "I'll western union you the $ back in an hour or so"....... Not sure how long a california hour is?
