Default vivid lucid dreams

I'm not a big energy drink person, but I'll have one or two per week. I started noticing that whenver I drink one in the later half of the day, I have crazy lucid dreams. I am a lucid dreamer, so that's not new, but the dreams are so much more intense when I have an energy drink in the evening. Maybe it's just because I'm more awake during those dreams. The other thing I noticed is that they're usually nightmares, or atleast very stressful. I gotta stop drinking those things.

Has anyone else had similar experiences?

For those of you that have attempted having lucid dreams, try drinking an energy beverage once or twice that day.

It's probably the Gingko Biloba. It stimulates blood flow to the brain.

It's probably the excess vitamin B in the drinks, most likely B6. A quick search showed similar experiences.

I take a Gingko supplement and it comes and goes with the Gingko, not the B supplements I take.

I took B supplements for years before I added Gingko and almost immediately I noticed the difference in dreams. This goes away when I'm out of Gingko

I actually like nightmares, but maybe have one per year. Kind of a cool adrenaline rush waking up freaked out in the middle of the night.

I will have to try an energy drink. Never had one.

But I do have lots of trouble with insomnia so if these things have caffeine I will never get to the dream part. If I have a coke after 9 at night, I am up most of the night.
