Vonage IPO - LOL
Well I've had Vonage and their service (or lack thereof) is the reason people are leaving.
Voice Pulse is much better, they actually seem to care and ensure any issues are taken care of quickly and easily.
I've been VOIP for close to 2 years now & I love it.
The only thing neither one of them will do well is a fax line. I can receive but can't fax out most of the time. Some of the older technology fax machines (and that doesn't necessarily mean an old machine) can't connect to send to a VOIP. I'll certainly be glad when they get that bug worked out.

The fax issue isn't a bug, it's a codec issue. Faxing will only work with g.711 (uncompressed audio) or T.38 fax protocol. I don't think they support T.38, so you're down to g.711 and one lost packet will kill the fax.
