I just can't believe that any one of us lucky enough to afford and own an S2K would be capable of stooping so low as to "steal" from another owner - for the sake of a few bucks (comparatively speaking).

I hate to think the worst about anyone, but there is always the possibility that Marcus is somehow incapacitated and can't respond; is so deep in debt (blackmail?) that he just can't afford to repay anyone; or is mentally unstable (for whatever reason). I know everyone here is about ready to hang the guy, but we should at least keep an open mind to the fact that there may be reasonable extenuating circumstances, and that he may not be just a common thief after all. In a way, I hope so.

BTW. Although it sounds like a good idea to wait till you get the money before you send off an item that someone's bought from you, I seem to remember other ppl on the board getting burned after sending money for a transaction, and getting nothing in return. (Happens all the time on ebay.)

I wish you luck in getting your money, Randy. Hope it turns out right for you, somehow.

The reason why both of us didn't post was because we believed in the guy, and thought the good of people, not the bad. After awhile of hearing his excuses, and believing they were genuine, it was too late to take any other means of recourse, except to hope that he was telling the truth and to wait it out. Now we're both pretty much screwed.
