Warranty on new tv bought on ebay?
Hi all, odd question, just cannot find the answer.
Basically, I have a brand new tv, sealed in the box, that I am needing to sell.
I am not an authorized dealer.
The warranty application cards are in the box.
A buyer wants to purchase it but needs to make SURE that the factory warranty can be activated after he buys it.
I am hoping that the buyer will only need the warranty app in the box, and not also to prove that it was bought from a retail store and not from an individual.
Can anyone please confirm with certainty for me?
Thanks

the buyer sends in the warrantee card after purchase. If you aren't an authorized reseller, they may or may not have a problem depending on the company. But it probably won't be an issue unless they are idiots about warrantee claims.
On the other hand, what kind of fool thinks an ebay purchase is in any way the same as buying from a brick&mortar store? I'd think twice about selling the bidder the TV if they are asking for guarantees you can't possibly deliver.
