Default We should get Chinese New Year off too!

With the amount of stuff made overseas in ethnic Chinese countries, or those countries that celebrate lunar new year, I think we Americans should get Chinese New Year off as well. I mean, NOTHING gets done in January and February - no shipments, no actions taken, NOTHING. so we might as well take those 2 weeks off.

What do you guys say?

I say take time off even if it is not considered a national holiday in the US

Yes! Who else gets to celebrate New Year twice!

Lots of people acutally. Besides the Chinese (and Vietnamese and Koreans, who also celebrate the same lunar new year), other cultures that have their own calendars include the Thais, the Jews, the Muslims, the Orthodox, the Druids, ...

Knew that. Thanks for the clarification to anyone else though

As a matter of speaking just said who else gets to celebrate twice; meaning we get to do a nice thing

I will spend part of the lunar new year in Singapore , part in Vietnam

恭喜发财

新年快乐

Happy new year!
