I don't touch drugs, but I could get weed in 2 seconds if I wanted it. It's everywhere it's crazy. It's not legalized, but users don't get much other than a slap on the wrist.
You'll see people in downtown vancouver smoking up on the steps of the art gallery in broad daylight.

I never smoked it, but I used to see a lot of it.
My Aunt's brother was a mid-level dealer in NYC for many years. I used to go to his apartment and see stacks and stacks of cash sitting around. He lived above an old auto shop, and he used to keep bales of pot down in the pit under the lift. I guess the last time I was there was about 8 years ago, and he had everything from cheap crap to the $2800/oz stuff. He died of cancer...
Funny thing, he lived literally one block from DEA headquarters.
The whole drug prohibition thing is a crock. It works just as well as prohibition back in the '30s. It has created more crime than anything since, and it quite obviously doesn't work. So the drug lords get rich and the rest of us lose yet more of our civil liberties.
