I've been a fan of the Femmes for ages.. I'm really surprised they let it go.

I was talking to the head of marketing for Canada today, and I asked her about it.. she's saying oh it's a big hit.. so I said.. you know what that's songs about right?....Silence

 

 

exactly..... it will be funny if it makes a come back after *only* 20 years....

 

What is the song about? I remember songs by their sound not by their name or artist so I don't have a clue which song this is and haven't seen a Wendy's commercial in quite a while.

 

I think it is about Heroin addiction? I never really cared for the song or the band, but it got played to death while I was in college...

....strung out, high as a kite.....defintely heroin or some other hard drug

 

One of those songs that was ruined for me after I heard it sung by drunks for the millionth time at a party (along with Sweet Caroline and Glory Days).

 

- sometimes cryptic lyrics & metaphors get taken to new levels in songs though - so I was cautious
